Der Käfer ist Kult und weltweit Teil der Kultur. Er weckt bis heute Emotionen wie kein anderes Automobil und wurde schon in seiner Entstehungszeit der 1930er Jahre Vorbild für Modelle, Spiele und vieles mehr. Die Ausstellung „Das Volkswagen-Hobby – ein weltweites Phänomen.“ geht vom 19. Januar bis 31. August 2023 der Frage nach, welche Artefakte zum Erfolg des Käfers beigetragen haben und welche Rolle die Vielfalt der Volkswagen-Enthusiasten dabei spielen.
