CZECH VW ENTHUSIAST VISITS THE CAR MUSEUM.

16 August 2023. In 1964, Miroslav Krčál bought his VW 1500 S with 54 hp, which he drove with enthusiasm until the beginning of the 1980s and which always served him faithfully. Therefore, the car remained in the family and Miroslav, with equal enthusiasm, revved up the engine of the car that had now been in the family garden for 4 decades. And that, without much effort. The proverbial VW quality is expressed here: "... and runs and runs and runs". The story went down so well with the people in charge at Volkswagen that they invited the family to Wolfsburg, the birthplace of their Type 3. In addition to a factory tour, the programme included a visit to the Volkswagen AutoMuseum, where Miroslav reminisced, recounted his experiences with VW - he also still owns two Golf 1 models - and imparted technical details to his grandson.
